 Joe Beck – Mayor

Joe Beck Stryker Council Member
 
Joe Beck is a lifelong resident of Stryker. He takes great pride in Stryker and looks forward to making Stryker the best it can be, while maintaining the small town feel that he feels was so important when raising his family. Joe is employed by Sylvania City Schools as the transportation supervisor. He is a 22 year veteran of the Navy Reserves and served two deployments in the Middle East. Joe is also active in his church.

Alan Riegsecker – Village Administrator

 
Alan has over 20 years of experience in public works. He holds a Class 1 EPA license in both water and wastewater. Alan has owned and operated heavy excavation equipment for over 30 years, and has over 29 years of experience as a basketball referee. Alan is married to Tammy and they have 3 daughters and 1 son.

Beth Rediger – Village Fiscal Officer

 
Beth Rediger is the Village Fiscal Officer. She has over 16 years experience as a Fiscal Officer. Beth received her certified Municipal Clerk License in December 2006 and Master Municipal Clerk thru Kent State in November 2011. Beth is married to Don Jr. and they have 2 sons, Jared and Jonathan.

Emily Clemens – Deputy Clerk

 
Emily is a graduate of Stryker High School and graduated with honors from Defiance College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Past work experience includes the Ohio State, Office of the Auditor for 5 years. Emily is married to Josh and has 2 daughters: Aubrey and McKenzie. She enjoys spending time with her family and helping coach her daughters’ volleyball and basketball teams.

Vicki Cameron – Village Council President

 
Vicki Cameron was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Stryker in 2006 when she married James Cameron II. Together they have 4 children, Kyle, Kandi, Zachary and Chyanne and 5 grandchildren. She was an EMT in Michigan and went to Spring Arbor University where she majored in History and Science. Vicki is currently a Forensics and Environmental science teacher at Four County Career Center. She enjoys traveling the USA in their camper, gardening, bird watching, kayaking, her boxer and best of all playing with the grandkids.

Dave Benner – Village Council

 
Dave Benner grew up in Bryan, Ohio. He moved to Stryker in 1982 and 3 short years later married LaVon. They have been married for 34 years. Dave and LaVon have two children, Audrey and Isaac. Dave is excited to serve as a Village Councilmember.

Sean Ingram – Village Council

Council member Sean Ingram came to Stryker in 2014 after accepting the call to be the Lead Pastor of the First Baptist Church. He has lived in such diverse places as Denver, CO, Los Angeles, CA, Scranton, PA, and Columbus, OH. He has been married to Kathee since 1990 and they are the parents of three grown children. He is a life-long fan of the Denver Broncos, but also enjoys the Ohio State Buckeyes. He has no political affiliation, preferring to be guided by biblical values that transcend political ideologies. He welcomes questions and input from the community.

Derrick “Dusty” Potter – Village Council

Derrick “Dusty” Potter moved to Stryker, Ohio in 1995 when he was 15. He graduated from Stryker High School in 2000. Dusty married his high school sweetheart Jennifer Kurivial and they have two sons, Jaxon and Colin. After high school, Dusty and Jen moved to Indianapolis where he got an Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance. Today, Dusty is a helicopter technician at Life Flight, Mercy Health in Toledo.

Stanley Whitlock – Village Council

Stanley is a graduate of Stryker High School and has lived in Stryker most of his life. He has been married to Sheila since 1977 and they are the parents of their daughter, Jennifer, who graduated from Stryker. They are also the proud grandparents of three. Since Stan is retired, he is glad to serve his hometown.

Nick Wlasiuk – Village Council

Nick has been married to Susan B. Anderson for 30 wonderful years. They have two daughters; Nichole (Dominique) Marks of Cincinnati and Nadine Rea Wlasiuk of Navato, California. They also have 5 grandchildren; Lydia, Asher, Nineveh, Malachi and Connor.  Nick has been a resident of Stryker for over 15 years; his wife is originally from Stryker. Nick has been in manufacturing as a supervisor for over 30 years with companies like; Sauder Woodworking, Style Mark which became Fypon and now is a part of Fortune Brands.  Currently he is working for Therma-Tru Door in Butler, Indiana, which also a part of the Fortune Brands Group.
