Public Works

Public Works plays an important role in protecting the public’s health and safety by providing clean drinking water, ensuring proper wastewater treatment, maintaining the streets, and managing storm water. The Public Works Department operates and maintains the village’s infrastructure including streets, parking, traffic signals, signs, bridges, city facilities, storm water drainage system, water treatment, and wastewater treatment facilities. The department coordinates development through facility planning efforts, ensures environmental compliance, and manages the construction of capital improvements, such as new roads, bridges, water mains and sewer lines. The Public Works Department consists of four individuals who are dedicated to the village. Stryker appreciates the service that Alan Riegsecker, Village Administrator, Mike Rodeheaver, Kris Mcmillen and Clint Clauson provide.
